Polyurethane screens

Applicability:

Polyurethane screens are used for screening non-metallic materials of fractions 0 to 130 mm, and for ultrathin screening and dehydration.

Production:

Polyurethane screens are manufactured with the use of the most advanced imported equipment using European components of specially selected polyurethane, thereby ensuring:

  • High wear resistance;
  • Ideal hardness;
  • Elasticity;
  • Resistance to hydrolysis;
  • Resistance to abrasion;
  • Resistance to sunlight.

We can produce screens with sizes of up to 2000*3000 mm, and thickness of up to 150 mm.

In addition, the screens may be reinforced with metal or fabric to provide greater tensile strength and deflection strength.

Features:

Polyurethane is a material with high wear resistance, and the most wear-resistant compounds are used in the manufacture of the screens.

By durability, polyurethane is much more superior to spring steel, from which woven screens are typically made. Therefore, despite the high cost, the use of polyurethane screens reduce the cost of screens per ton of products by 1.5 to 3 times.

However, polyurethane screens have a lower screen area open area than woven screens. Therefore, screening efficiency may be reduced by 10% to 40%, depending on the screen being used.

In our company, you can get a qualified assessment of the effectiveness of using polyurethane screens compared to metal screens and recommendations on their use and replacement.

We manufacture modular, self-supporting and tensioned polyurethane screens, suitable for all types of screening machines and fasteners.

Polyurethane hardness varies from 50 to 100 Shore A, depending on the mesh size and characteristics of the screening material.

In the case of any problems with the clogging of traditional polyurethane screens by a material, we can offer the use of membrane or self-cleaning counterparts.

Main types:

  • Tensioned screens. During manufacture, specially designed screen tensioning control system are used, and any type of hook fasteners enabling the use of a standard system for tensioning most of the screens is installed.
  • Modular screens. These screens are installed on a previously prepared fastening system, and may vary by individual sites, allowing one to bring the service life of each module to the maximum.
  • Self-supporting screens. Are strengthened with metal frame, which allows screens to withstand the load of the screening material without any additional device support system.
